Diploma in Interior Architecture

Dhofar University's Interior Architecture Engineering diploma dates from 2005 and was created to supply technically skilled professionals and give students from different regions accessible technical education. The programme introduces drafting, the organisation of space, building materials and interior construction. Core topics include construction drawings, the basics of lighting and acoustics, selecting materials and computer-aided design, learned through studio work, laboratories and practical sessions with an industry focus. Graduates are prepared for entry-level work in interior drafting, coordinating material supply, assisting with residential design and providing technical support on fit-out projects. They can also continue to further study in a related design or interior architecture engineering field. Applicants need a General Education Diploma or equivalent and a pass in the Foundation Program at Dhofar University or a recognised institution.
