Diploma in Restaurant & Culinary Management

Run by the School of Hospitality, this diploma in culinary and restaurant management prepares students for management roles in food service. It combines theory with practical skills in technology, entrepreneurship, business, culinary arts and restaurant service, so graduates can work in different parts of the hospitality industry. Graduates may move into roles in restaurants and other food and beverage businesses. Students develop a business mindset, learn core food and beverage operations and practise using technology to run an operation. Hands-on training and support are offered to those who want to start their own food and beverage business. The school presents the broad education as a way to prepare future leaders in the sector. The programme is suited to students who like food, service and business and want to turn that interest into a management career.
