AA/AS in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities

This major serves students aiming to transfer and finish a liberal arts bachelor's degree. It asks them to explore several humanities and social science fields before choosing a narrower focus. The general education component includes science and mathematics. Typical transfer paths lead toward public service, teaching, business, publicity, social services and journalism. Students should check whether their destination institutions require study of a world language. The program belongs to the School of Language & Literature at Bucks, and a suggested plan assumes about fifteen credit hours each semester. Since this is a transfer major, students should check in early with the Transfer Services Office to learn which courses their intended four-year college will accept. Prospective students can ask the school office for questions about scheduling, course prerequisites and how the program fits their goals.
