AA/AS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technologies/Technicians

Electrical engineering is one concentration inside Montgomery College's engineering science associate of science. It draws some of the largest enrollments at the college and covers an unusually wide range of specialties, from minute components in communications and computer hardware to massive equipment used to generate and deliver power. Students learn to work through introductory physics and engineering questions about analog and digital circuitry, to build basic circuits and systems with analytical and numerical methods, and to use software suited to the discipline. Several bioengineering fields also lean on these principles. Early terms combine English, calculus, chemistry, physics and programming for engineers. A printable advising guide and a sample course plan help students map their path.
