Requirements

Admission Requirements: Cambrian's General Arts and Science – Certificate page requires, for graduates of the current Ontario curriculum, a 30-credit Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or mature-student standing, including grade 12 English at the Workplace (E), College (C) or University (U) level; mature-student applicants are assessed individually. International applicants must additionally meet Cambrian's institution-wide English-proficiency scale for certificate-level programmes, published on its admissions site: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band under 5.5, TOEFL iBT 80 (550 paper-based), PTE Academic 58, or Duolingo English Test 105-115. Applicants short of the academic requirement can complete Cambrian's free Academic Upgrading before enrolling; no portfolio, interview or minimum GPA is stated.

Start Date: January 2027
Application Deadline: Domestic applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca: for programmes starting September 2027 the application opens 26 September 2026 and the equal-consideration date is 1 February 2027, after which applications are assessed first-come, first-served while seats remain. Cambrian's own 2026-27 Academic Schedule A separately sets a Day-3 last-day-to-apply cut-off for every program each term - 13 January 2027 for the January 2027 intake and 12 May 2027 for the May 2027 intake - with transcripts in hand and the non-refundable deposit ready before Day 5. International applicants apply through the OCAS International Application Service (up to three Cambrian programmes) or an authorised agent and are reviewed individually; Cambrian publishes no fixed international closing date. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
