Diploma in Human Sciences - Sports Profile (DEC)

This CEGEP-level pre-university Diploma of College Studies (DEC) combines the Human Sciences core curriculum with a Sports profile, applying course content to sport-related contexts over an extended five-session format. Students choose a specialized training stream in basketball, cross-country running, women's flag football, football, women's rugby, or general athletic conditioning, and the timetable builds in dedicated periods for sport practice alongside academic coursework. The programme gives access to CNDF's sports facilities and offers free physiotherapy services to enrolled students. An optional mathematics-intensive pathway is available for students planning university programmes with stronger quantitative requirements. As with other pre-university Human Sciences programmes, it prepares graduates for university admission in fields such as kinesiology, social sciences, or education rather than for direct entry into a technical occupation. Classes are delivered on campus.
