The Nursing (BScN) with RN Prescribing program is a compressed three-year, full-time honours degree built on the relationship between nurses, patients and communities. Instruction combines coursework on campus with small experiential learning labs and medical simulation using augmented and virtual reality. Clinical placements take place at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, and ten seats are reserved for Indigenous students. RN Prescribing is embedded throughout the curriculum, and students may pursue an optional concentration in Neuroscience and Mental Health or in Data Science. The program runs on a year-round schedule with Fall, Winter and Summer terms.
