Music Jazz-Pop is a two-year pre-university diploma (DEC) delivered in collaboration with the Conservatoire de musique de Rimouski, offering specialized training in popular and jazz music on instruments including drums, saxophone, flute, clarinet, trumpet, voice, guitar, bass, violin, and piano. Training uses modern studio equipment and covers stage-production techniques alongside regular public performance opportunities. The programme prepares graduates for further study in music at university or conservatory level, or for careers as performing musicians, composers, or producers. The programme is delivered over two years of full-time study and combines applied performance courses on the student's chosen instrument or voice with ensemble work, stage production practice, and general pre-university coursework common to all DEC programmes.
