Overview
This Bachelor of Engineering in Cybersecurity Engineering, offered through Concordia's Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science, covers cyber defense, applied cryptography, and data, network and systems security alongside the full engineering design lifecycle. Coursework spans secure programming, operating system security, penetration testing, malware analysis and applications of AI in cybersecurity, with professional ethics, policy and technology's societal impact integrated throughout the curriculum. Full-time study takes four to five years (120-150 credits), with classes held on Concordia's Sir George Williams campus.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Direct entry from Quebec CEGEP requires an overall average of 25, a math average of 26 and a physics average of 25, including General Chemistry 1, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Linear Algebra, Mechanics, and Electricity and Magnetism; Ontario and other Canadian high-school applicants need a B overall average, B+ in math and B+ in physics, with one math course and Grade 12 or university-preparatory physics; IB Diploma applicants need 29 points overall with 4 HL or 5 SL mathematics and 5 HL or SL physics; internal transfer applicants need a 2.7 overall average, 3.0 in math and physics, and 1.7 in Gina Cody School courses. Admission is available for the Fall and Winter terms.
