The Master of Environment in Environmental Assessment provides training in scoping, environmental data collection and analysis, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The program includes a four-month internship in which students work under professional supervision in a field related to environmental assessment, combined with coursework and a research component. The program requires a minimum of 45 credits and is normally completed over two years of full-time study. Admission requires a bachelor's degree in an appropriate Arts or Science discipline from a recognized university, with a minimum GPA of 3.30 on a 4.30 scale. Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate sufficient English proficiency for graduate study. The program admits students in the Fall term only, at Concordia University's Sir George Williams campus.
