Overview

Conestoga's Baking and Pastry Arts Management is a two-year, hybrid-delivery Ontario College Diploma at the Waterloo campus for aspiring bakers and pastry chefs. Graduates leave prepared to launch their own bakery or lead in a professional kitchen.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or mature-student status at 19 years of age or older. The programme requires Grade 12 compulsory English at a C or U level, or equivalent, or Conestoga's Preparatory Communications, plus Grade 11 Mathematics at C, M (University/College) or U level, or equivalent, or Conestoga's Preparatory Mathematics. Canadian citizens and permanent residents holding transcripts from outside Canada must obtain a course-by-course credential evaluation from an approved provider. Conestoga notes that a sound mathematical and English background is considered during selection and that minimum cutoffs apply.
