Overview
This certificate, now listed by Langara College as the Real Property certificate, is a full-time, one-year Continuing Studies program covering a range of real estate topics. It draws on subject matter similar to the college's Diploma in Real Estate but delivers it in a shorter format, giving graduates a foundation for further study or for pursuing licensing-education requirements in various real estate professions. Classes are scheduled on weekday evenings (6:30-9:30pm) and Saturdays, and students must maintain at least 80% attendance across course hours to meet program requirements. As of the September 2025 intake, the college has suspended new admissions to Canadian citizens and permanent residents pending a review of the program, and it is currently open to international student applicants only; other applicants are directed toward Langara's related Construction Standards and Property Management certificates. The program follows the college's standard term calendar, with intakes and application deadlines published by term. It suits students who want a concentrated, evening-and-weekend introduction to real estate subject matter without committing to the longer diploma track.
