This 30-credit certificate focuses on real estate evaluation and analysis, offered full-time or part-time at the Montreal campus with fall and winter admission. Ten required courses cover real estate sustainability and market analysis, the structural and operational components of buildings, real estate economics and law, architectural and comparative evaluation methods, and real estate finance. The programme gives students the complementary multidisciplinary knowledge that defines the real estate field, combining technical building knowledge with financial and legal analysis, and preparing them for evaluation, brokerage, appraisal, and analysis roles in the sector. An introductory university-level finance course is required for admission, and candidates may be asked to pass a mathematics test as a condition of entry, reflecting the quantitative content of the evaluation and finance courses.
