The Diploma in Business Management program provides the versatility to work in a variety of management careers. Langara College’s Business Management graduates are the chameleons of the work world and are able to draw on their solid business education to tackle business opportunities and problems. As well, those with an entrepreneurial spirit will gain the expertise to operate their own enterprise. Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission to the Business Management Diploma requires BC Grade 12 graduation (or equivalent) for domestic applicants, or 19 years of age or older as an alternative; international applicants need BC Grade 12 graduation or equivalent. Applicants who have attempted 24 or more post-secondary credits must hold a cumulative grade point average of 2.00 or higher. English proficiency is assessed under Langara's Category 2 standard: English 12 at 70%, IELTS Academic 6.5 with no band under 6.0, Duolingo English Test 110, TOEFL iBT 88 (Writing, Reading, Listening and Speaking each at 20), CAEL 70 with no band under 60, or PTE Academic 56 with no skill below 55. The two-year diploma has limited enrolment and admits in January, May and September; students admitted may need additional English coursework to satisfy program prerequisites.
