The Diploma in Arts and Science (Commerce) is a two-year program offered by the Langara School of Management, providing courses equivalent to pre-Commerce and first-year Commerce study, geared toward transfer to the University of British Columbia and, subject to space and some course amendments, to Simon Fraser University and the University of Victoria. Coursework builds a foundation in business and mathematics-oriented subjects and supports entry into general business fields. Graduates may be eligible for direct admission into the third year of Royal Roads University's Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management program, or may continue at Langara in the Bachelor of Business Administration program after completing bridging courses. An Associate of Arts Degree in Commerce and Business Studies is also available as an alternative credential. The program is delivered full-time and in-person, with intakes in September, January, and May, leading to a Diploma in Arts and Science credential.
