Overview

The Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.) in Air and Space Law is offered by the Institute of Air and Space Law within the Faculty of Law. It is a research-intensive doctoral program in which students may be associated with the Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism, the Paul-Andre Crepeau Centre for Private and Comparative Law, the Centre for Intellectual Property Policy, or one of the Faculty's research chairs, depending on their research area. Students have access to a Mentorship Program, a Teaching Fellowship Program, and an Associate Supervisory Program. The program develops skills in original thinking, literature review, and information synthesis, preparing graduates for careers in academia or industry. Admission is in the Fall term.

Minimum GPA: 3.00 / 4.0
Admission Requirements: Applicants need an eligible bachelor's degree and an eligible master's degree, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0, plus proof of English-language proficiency.
