The Master of Science in Neuroscience is a thesis-based graduate program jointly offered by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, the Faculty of Engineering, and the Faculty of Science. It is McGill's largest graduate neuroscience program, spanning cellular and molecular neuroscience, systems neuroscience, human brain imaging, computational neuroscience, neurodevelopment, and behavioural and cognitive neuroscience. Students complete laboratory-based research, coursework, an annual retreat, and a seminar program, working within a community of close to 600 graduate students and over 230 supervisors. Admitted students are guaranteed funding. Admission requires an eligible bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA (out of 4.0), plus McGill's English-language proficiency requirement for applicants whose first language is not English. The program admits students in the Fall term.
