Admission Requirements: Entry is restricted to people already qualified in a health profession - there is no route from secondary school. Mohawk marks the program competitive and late-release, with equal consideration dates of 1 February for the September start and 1 October for the May start.
ACADEMIC ENTRY, one of: registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer; or a two-year registered health-professions diploma that included six credit hours of human anatomy and physiology (or equivalent) plus six further health-care credit hours such as ethics, psychology, patient care or medical research - Mohawk names medical radiation technologist, respiratory therapist, registered practical nurse, cardiovascular technologist, registered massage therapist and OTA/PTA among the qualifying professions; or a bachelor's or master's degree in a registered health profession with the same six-plus-six credit-hour pattern, for example BSc or BA Kinesiology, BScN, Bachelor of Medical Radiation Sciences, Bachelor of Health Sciences, MSc OT or MSc PT. Anyone who has not practised in their profession within the last five years is not eligible.
MANDATORY EXTRA MATERIAL, all of it sent to ontariocolleges.ca: official transcripts for every post-secondary credential; a current resume, on Mohawk's template, setting out how long and at what level you have given patient care and naming the courses and course codes you are relying on; and a copy of your current professional registration or licence. Document cut-offs are firm - 31 January for a spring start and 16 February for a fall start - and Mohawk states that late documents and incomplete applications are not reviewed.
ENGLISH, where it is a second language: Mohawk will not score an application without a TOEFL or IELTS Academic result. It requires TOEFL iBT 98 taken within two years of applying, with at least 24 in reading, listening and writing and 26 in speaking, or IELTS Academic 7.0 with no band under 6.5.

Applying afterwards is still allowed, but remaining seats go first-come, first-served, and a competitive program is usually full by that point.
