Kinesiology and Sport Studies Diploma

The Kinesiology and Sport Studies Diploma is a two-year program that provides a foundational understanding of human movement across anatomical, physiological, psychological, nutritional, and mechanical dimensions. Students complete ten courses per academic year, combining theoretical study with practical, applied learning experiences. The program is delivered through a hybrid format that blends face-to-face instruction at the Lac La Biche campus with online coursework. Graduates are prepared for further study or entry-level roles in sport, recreation, health, and wellness fields. The program begins in the fall term and runs across two consecutive academic years at Portage College.
