Queen's University's Department of Physics, Engineering Physics & Astronomy offers a two-year, thesis-based Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Engineering Physics. The program requires a minimum of four term-length graduate courses, of which at least two must be offered by the department, plus a research project and thesis to be completed within two years of initial registration. Admission to the MASc requires an undergraduate degree in Engineering or Applied Science and at least second-class standing in an Honours Bachelor's degree. An accelerated MASc option is available to qualifying Queen's undergraduate students. Graduate students are guaranteed a minimum funding stipend for the two-year program, made up of teaching assistantships, internal fellowships and bursaries, and supervisor support. Applicants whose first language is not English must submit an English language proficiency test score, such as a minimum overall IELTS Academic score of 7.0.
