The Master of International Business at Queen's University's Smith School of Business combines study at the Kingston campus with an exchange or double-degree period at a partner business school abroad, giving students an extended cross-cultural learning experience. Program length varies by pathway, including single-degree, single-degree-with-internship, and double-degree options of differing lengths offered with partner institutions such as Bocconi, Catolica Lisbon, ESADE, ESSEC, FGV, INCAE, HKUST, the University of Queensland, and WU Vienna. With the exception of the HKUST double-degree option, program fees are paid to Smith School of Business for the full duration of study, including time spent at a partner institution, and the Fall term of study begins in September. Admission requirements are the same minimum standard across the single-degree and double-degree pathways, though some double-degree options carry additional requirements. Candidates whose native language is not English and whose undergraduate studies were taken in a language other than English must achieve a satisfactory score on an accepted test of English proficiency; candidates who completed a degree taught in English are exempt.
