Creative Communications is a two-year diploma program preparing students for careers in advertising and marketing communications, broadcasting, media production, journalism, public relations, and communications management. The curriculum covers digital media design, visual storytelling, creative writing, social media strategy, and data analytics, with practical work in media production studios and sound recording and editing suites. Students choose a specialization from four streams: Advertising & Marketing Communications, Journalism, Media Production, or Public Relations & Communication Management. The program includes two three-week industry placements that give students hands-on experience in their chosen field. It is delivered full-time and on campus at the Exchange District Campus in Winnipeg, with a laptop-delivery model requiring students to supply their own computer. Entry is competitive, based on an entrance test and interview alongside academic standing. Graduates are prepared for roles across the communications, media, and marketing industries in agency, corporate, and non-profit settings.
