This bachelor's degree program is delivered jointly by the University of Regina and Saskatchewan Polytechnic, with classes offered in Regina and Saskatoon. It prepares students for entry-level registered nursing practice and eligibility to write the national nursing licensing exam. The standard pathway spans four years, with accelerated options allowing completion in three to three-and-a-half years. Alternative routes include a two-year After Degree Nursing Program for applicants who already hold a degree, and a two-year pathway for licensed practical nurses moving into the BScN, alongside a separate route for registered psychiatric nurses. A bilingual stream delivering roughly half of instruction in French is also available. The program is designed for a range of entrants, including current high school students, high school graduates, other post-secondary students, and licensed practical or registered psychiatric nurses seeking degree completion. Graduates are prepared to enter practice as registered nurses upon successful licensing examination. The collaborative structure allows students to complete their nursing degree through either partner institution while following a shared curriculum.
