Diploma in Protection Security and Investigation at Sault College in Sault Ste. Marie, Canada is a diploma in Fire, Justice & Security programme. The programme runs for 2 years, delivered on campus. Teaching is in English. Tuition for international students is CAD 15,551 per year (CAD 2,701 per year for local students).
The two-year diploma builds knowledge of Canada's criminal and civil justice systems alongside security, protection and investigation techniques for careers spanning policing, customs administration, corrections and public security. Students develop conflict-resolution skills for managing diverse groups fairly, train in a simulation lab using more than 800 realistic, voice-interactive scenarios with use-of-force tools, and learn in small classes with experienced faculty. A pathway with Lake Superior State University allows completion of a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice two years after the diploma, and students can also add the Police Foundations diploma in one further year for two diplomas in three years total.
