Program details

Overview

The certificate addresses multiple facets of early learning and child development, with focus on what children require from infancy through the school-age years, and on their families. Students learn to design programmes and environments that are child-centred, nurturing and supportive of early development, preparing them to work directly with young children and families in a range of roles. Coursework also covers planning and delivering programmes focused on healthy child development and building relationships within the early learning field.
