BA/BS in Human Resource Management

Human Resource Management is one of nine concentrations available within the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Simon Fraser University's Beedie School of Business. The BBA combines applied problem-solving and hands-on projects with a foundation in contemporary business principles and practices. Students are admitted to the BBA program generally and declare the Human Resource Management concentration afterward, focusing their upper-division coursework on recruitment, compensation, labour relations, organizational behaviour, and workforce planning. Most BBA concentrations, including Human Resource Management, are offered at SFU's Burnaby campus. A Business Minor is also available for non-Business students who want to add HR-related coursework to another major. Graduates are prepared for roles in human resources, talent management, and organizational development, as well as further graduate study in business or human resources management.
