Overview
This part-time online certificate from SFU Continuing Studies builds the social and emotional intelligence new and aspiring leaders need to form collaborative relationships, guide change and shape an equitable, inclusive organizational culture. Four ten-week courses step outward in scope, moving from leading the self to leading teams and relationships, then leading in organizations, and finally leading the people practices that underpin organizational success, with attention throughout to power dynamics, diversity and decolonizing leadership. Study is self-paced within set deadlines, courses start several times a year, and most students finish within one to three years.

Admission Requirements: Admission to this Continuing Studies certificate requires completion of Grade 12 or its equivalent; mature students who do not meet that bar may qualify instead with at least five years of appropriate relevant experience.
