Requirements
Admission Requirements: This diploma requires a completed bachelor's degree and admission to SFU as a post-baccalaureate student. Applicants must complete two lower-division prerequisite courses — CRIM 135 (Introduction to Canadian Law and Legal Institutions) and POL 151 (Justice and Law), each 3 units — and apply in writing to the School of Criminology's undergraduate advisor for program declaration. Continuation and graduation require a minimum grade of C- in every course counted toward the diploma and a cumulative grade point average of 2.25, alongside minimum 2.25 upper-division and criminology-specific GPAs; falling below 2.25 CGPA also bars enrolment in upper-division CRIM courses. Applicants must otherwise meet SFU's standard undergraduate admission deadlines and submit application forms and official documents to Student Services. No English-language test score, interview or portfolio is published for this diploma beyond SFU's standard admission process.
