The baccalaureat par cumul (BACCUM) combines several first-cycle credentials, at least one of them from Universite de Montreal, into a single 90-credit degree: either one major with one minor or certificate, or three minors or certificates. Depending on the components chosen, the resulting credential is a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), or Bachelor of Management (B. Gest.). A related option, the baccalaureat par cumul avec appellation (BACCAP), guarantees that the diploma names a specific disciplinary field; nine named BACCAP programmes are offered directly, plus ten management-focused combinations through HEC Montreal. At least 30 of the 90 credits must be completed at Universite de Montreal, and at least 15 further credits at UdeM, HEC Montreal, or Polytechnique Montreal. Combined degrees must be completed within a maximum ten-year span between the first and last credential awarded.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: There is no single admission process for the cumulative degree itself; applicants must be admitted to, and meet the entry conditions and quota of, each combined component (the major, minors, or certificates making up the 90 credits).
