Overview
This graduate diploma provides specialized training in biomedical engineering across several areas of specialization, including biomaterials and tissue engineering, biomechanics, electrophysiology, clinical engineering, rehabilitation engineering, instrumentation and biomedical imaging, and health information sciences. The 30-credit, non-thesis programme is delivered full-time or part-time through day courses at the Montreal campus, with a minimum full-time completion of two trimesters or the equivalent and a maximum of four years, and intakes in Fall and Winter. Coursework combines engineering, physiology, and biomedical-science foundations with applied, laboratory-based training in one or more specialization axes chosen to match the applicant's prior academic background. Graduates are prepared for roles in hospitals, medical-device companies, clinical-engineering departments, and research settings, applying engineering methods to healthcare technology and rehabilitation challenges.
