This Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Project Type) is a 30-credit, second-cycle program at Universite du Quebec a Rimouski that deepens engineering and project-management competencies through an applied innovation, technology-transfer, or industrial-intervention project. Students choose one of six concentrations: computer-aided design and manufacturing, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, wind engineering, electromechanical engineering, or signal processing and telecommunications. Courses are generally delivered in person on the Rimouski campus during the week, in daytime and evening sessions, and the program may be completed full-time or part-time. Admission requires a bachelor's degree in applied sciences in an appropriate field, obtained in Quebec with a cumulative average of at least 3.2 out of 4.3, with case-by-case review for averages between 2.8 and 3.2 and possible preparatory coursework for averages between 2.5 and 2.8; applicants educated outside Quebec may qualify with an equivalent engineering diploma or a master's degree in a related field and a cumulative average of at least 12 out of 20, or through relevant knowledge, training, and professional experience.
