This Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Course Type) is a 30-credit, second-cycle program at Universite du Quebec a Rimouski that lets students deepen their knowledge in one of six engineering concentrations: computer-aided design and manufacturing, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, wind engineering, electromechanical engineering, or signal processing and telecommunications. The course-based profile combines three foundational engineering courses, three project-management electives, two specialization courses, and a technical project. Courses are generally delivered in person on the Rimouski campus during the week, in daytime and evening sessions. Admission requires a bachelor's degree in applied sciences in an appropriate field, obtained in Quebec with a cumulative average of at least 3.2 out of 4.3; applicants educated outside Quebec may qualify with an equivalent engineering diploma and a cumulative average of at least 12 out of 20.
