This Certificate in Geography is a new, 30-credit, part-time undergraduate program offered at the Université de Sherbrooke's main Sherbrooke campus, with admission in the fall and winter terms. It trains students to analyze environmental and social issues from the spatial and temporal perspective of geographic science, building foundational knowledge of geography together with its core principles and methods. Coursework examines the natural and human components of environmental and social problems and their interactions across different spatial and temporal scales. The certificate can be paired with related concentrations offered in the same faculty and gives students flexibility to personalize their course selection from a wide range of electives. It suits students seeking focused, part-time training in geography, whether to complement another credential or to explore the discipline before committing to a full program.
