The Master's in Engineering Management (Maitrise en gestion de l'ingenierie) is a 45-credit graduate program at Universite de Sherbrooke leading to the Maitre en ingenierie (M.Ing.) degree, offered on the main Sherbrooke campus, the Longueuil campus, and by distance education, with admission in the fall, winter and summer terms depending on the track and location. The program offers two tracks: one for working engineering professionals, delivered part-time by distance education, and one for professionals in training or trained abroad, offered full-time in a regular or co-operative study regime. The curriculum builds general and specific competencies for intervening and interacting more effectively in the workplace, combining a core block of essential competencies in career planning, written and oral communication, creativity, leadership, financial analysis, law and project management with an applied module chosen from project management, product development and continuous improvement, innovation and entrepreneurship, or workplace relational impacts, culminating in an integration project completed through an internship or on the job.
