The Master's in Systemic Management of Natural Environments (Maitrise en gestion systemique des milieux naturels) is a 45-credit, full-time research-stream program at Universite de Sherbrooke leading to the Maitre es sciences (M.Sc.) degree, delivered on the main Sherbrooke campus with fall-term admission. The program trains specialists with an integrated view of socio-ecological systems who can produce expert assessments or carry out interventions for the conservation, sustainable use, protection or restoration of natural environments, and manage related projects, while collaborating effectively in interdisciplinary, intercultural or international settings. It offers a regular track preparing graduates for professional practice in Quebec or Canada with a professional internship, an international track preparing graduates for practice in an international and intercultural context with an international internship, and a dual-degree track combined with the environmental management stream of the Master's in Environment, which includes two internships and leads to both the M.Sc. and the Maitre en environnement (M.Env.) degrees.
