This Certificate in Management is a 30-credit, part-time undergraduate program offered at the Universite de Sherbrooke's Ecole de gestion, with admission in the fall, winter and summer terms at the Sherbrooke and Longueuil campuses. It gives students a general grounding in management while partially satisfying the requirements of the Bachelor of Business Administration (B.A.A.). Between 21 and 30 credits are chosen from a block of management electives covering sustainable development issues and practices, contemporary management, mobilizing communication, cooperative management, diversity management, new management practices, leadership skills, managerial and political skills, business ethics, decision-making, a management integration project, project management from planning to delivery, innovation management, and strategic management. Up to 9 remaining credits may be drawn from other first-cycle Ecole de gestion courses with the program director's approval. The certificate suits students seeking focused, part-time management training, whether as a standalone credential or as a component of another program. The program is not open to admission for international students.
