This professional master's program (Maitre en administration) in marketing communication comprises 45 required credits, delivered full-time, with fall admission on the Sherbrooke main campus followed by winter and summer activities on the Longueuil campus. The program builds on prior training or provides specialized preparation in marketing communication, developing the ability to analyze specific situations and intervene appropriately, and preparing graduates to help resolve marketing communication problems within multidisciplinary teams. Students gain an integrated understanding of marketing communication within organizations, learn to conduct audit projects and develop marketing communication plans, and build skills in strategic consulting and managing an organization's marketing communications. The curriculum covers organizational intervention, communication audit, public relations strategy, communication ethics, creative and digital communication strategy, media planning, agency-client relationship management, brand management, consumer behaviour, e-commerce communication, relationship marketing, marketing communication research, and legal aspects of marketing communication, and concludes with a capstone essay.

Admission Requirements: Applicants must hold a bachelor's (1st cycle) degree in business administration with a specialization in marketing communication, or the equivalent, with a cumulative average of at least 2.7 on a 4.3-point scale for general admission, and at least 3.0 on a 4.3-point scale on the relevant 1st-cycle or qualifying coursework for the specific admission decision. Candidates from other fields of study may also be admitted, subject to qualifying coursework, or on the basis of equivalent training or experience. All admitted students must demonstrate a strong command of French, either through an exemption or by reaching CEFR level C1 (a score of at least 500 out of 699 across listening, reading, speaking and writing) on a test recognized by the university, and must have a good understanding of written English. Selection considers academic record, application file, a supplementary information form, and relevant experience.
