Completed full-time over five consecutive trimesters, the program develops interdisciplinary competencies for managing complex forest-resource issues, with specialization options in forest resource management, urban forestry, conservation, or Indigenous forest governance. Graduates are prepared to lead projects within public, private, or non-profit organizations. Regular admission is offered in the fall term only; exceptional winter or summer admission is limited to prerequisite coursework with program committee approval. The program targets bachelor's-degree holders in the natural or applied sciences, or a related field, who have some background in statistics and want specialized graduate training in sustainable forest management.
