This master's programme deepens scientific and technical knowledge in engineering and introduces students to research and technological innovation, training autonomous specialists for professional practice across engineering domains. It offers two pathways: a research-focused thesis track and a professional project-based track, each totaling 45 credits at the second-cycle (graduate) level. Admission normally requires a Bachelor's degree in applied sciences for Quebec-educated applicants, or an engineering diploma or Master's degree for applicants educated outside Quebec, with relevant professional knowledge and experience also considered. Courses are generally offered in person during the week, both daytime and evening. Admission is open for the Fall, Winter, and Summer trimesters. Admission Requirements: Applicants educated in Quebec must hold a Bachelor's degree in applied sciences in an appropriate domain, obtained with a cumulative average of at least 3.2 out of 4.3; applicants educated outside Quebec must hold an engineering diploma or a Master's degree, with a cumulative average of at least 12 out of 20 or equivalent. Candidates with a cumulative average between 2.8 and 3.2 may be admitted subject to additional qualifying coursework, and admission based on relevant professional knowledge and experience is also considered. All candidates must demonstrate French-language competency; those who cannot provide proof of competency must pass an approved French test and an institutional exam on arrival.
