— it helps other students.
This master's programme deepens scientific and technical knowledge in engineering and introduces students to research and technological innovation, following a course-based pathway built around a supervised project rather than a thesis. The project component allows students to apply engineering methods to a concrete technical problem under faculty supervision. It totals 45 credits at the second-cycle (graduate) level. Admission normally requires a Bachelor's degree in applied sciences for Quebec-educated applicants, or an engineering diploma or a Master's degree in engineering or a related science for applicants educated outside Quebec. Courses are delivered on campus at the Rimouski campus. Admission is open for the Fall and Winter trimesters. The programme leads to a Master's degree in Engineering and is administered under UQAR programme code 1608.
