This 18-credit, third-cycle short program in exhibition theory and practice — practical project profile — trains specialists in exhibition through interdisciplinary study, delivered entirely online through UQO's Gatineau campus. Admission is offered in the Fall, Winter, and Summer terms, with places limited to six students per year across all profiles of the program. Students initiate and realize an exhibition project connected to their field of study, developing and implementing exhibition programming while engaging with the history and current practices of exhibitions. The realization profile requires a written letter of support from a host organization for the practical project. The program suits professionals and researchers in visual arts, museology, communication, or education seeking hands-on exhibition experience combined with critical grounding. Instruction is delivered in French, and applicants must also demonstrate good oral and written comprehension of English.
