This 15-credit, second-cycle short program examines the medical, psychosocial, clinical, ethical, and legal dimensions of infertility and assisted reproduction. It is delivered entirely online through UQO's Gatineau and St-Jérôme campuses on a part-time basis, admitting students in the Fall, Winter, and Summer terms. The curriculum introduces reproductive technologies and their clinical applications, examines ethical issues arising from surrogacy and transnational reproduction, and considers how social stratification shapes access to and experience of fertility treatment. Students also engage with critiques of bionormativity and develop practical intervention skills for supporting individuals and couples navigating infertility and assisted reproduction. The program suits professionals in health, social services, and related fields seeking interdisciplinary training on reproductive health. Instruction is in French, with adequate English reading comprehension also expected.
