This 18-credit, third-cycle short program in exhibition theory and practice — study-essay profile — trains specialists in exhibition through interdisciplinary study, delivered entirely online through UQO's Gatineau campus. Admission is offered in the Fall, Winter, and Summer terms, but places are limited to six students per year across all profiles of the program. Students initiate a project related to their field of study and develop deep, critical, and reflective thinking on the theory, history, and practice of exhibitions, culminating in a research paper. The program suits professionals and researchers in arts, museology, communication, or education who want to combine practical exhibition work with sustained critical analysis. Instruction is delivered in French, and applicants must also demonstrate good oral and written comprehension of English.
