This Bachelor of Music in Classical Performance combines general and practical training, emphasizing fundamental musicianship for all performers. The 90-credit, three-year curriculum develops interpretation skills and artistic sensitivity through individual and group lessons on the student's instrument, alongside music history, ear training, analysis and composition coursework covering historical, artistic and aesthetic knowledge. Students without a prior music DEC complete three foundational first-year theory and ear-training courses. Graduates pursue careers as soloists, ensemble or orchestra members, accompanists, or music educators, and the programme prepares students for graduate studies in performance or instrumental pedagogy. The Faculty of Music offers soundproof studios, 24 grand pianos, performance halls and an early-music instrument collection.
