Overview

Admission Requirements: Western Integrated Science (WISc) requires Grade 12U Chemistry (SCH4U), in addition to Western's general Science admission requirements, which cover the standard Ontario Secondary School Diploma with English (ENG4U) among six Grade 12U/M courses and math/science prerequisites appropriate to Science entry; admission is competitive on the top-six average, published as an indicative guideline. Applicants apply through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre to Science (code ES) naming Western Integrated Science as their subject of major interest, and must also complete a WISc supplemental application; applications received before the published April deadline receive full consideration, with later applications reviewed until spaces fill. The program is elite and limited to roughly 60 students per year, so meeting the stated requirements does not guarantee a place. International applicants present an equivalent secondary credential plus English proficiency: IELTS Academic 6.5 overall (no band below 6.0) or TOEFL iBT 83 (no section below 20), per Western's general standard.
