The PhD in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at York University is Canada's only doctoral program combining both disciplines under a single degree. The program is administered through the Lassonde School of Engineering and offered on a full-time or part-time basis, with a fall entry each year. Applicants submit a one-page statement of purpose describing their previous experience, three letters of recommendation and a Supplementary Information Form; the GRE is strongly recommended but not mandatory.
