This four-year Bachelor of Engineering programme in Computer Engineering covers how computer engineering underpins modern technology, from intelligent systems to connected devices. Coursework combines lectures, hands-on labs, team projects and problem-solving sessions, and explores how hardware and software integrate in systems such as embedded devices, robotics and communication networks. A paid co-op placement, available after second year, offers 4-, 8- or 12-month work terms with employers including Bell, AMD, Ontario Power Generation and RBC. The programme is delivered on campus at York University's Keele Campus within the Lassonde School of Engineering and admits students in the Fall and Winter terms under OUAC code YT. It leads to a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree and prepares graduates for roles such as robotics engineer, embedded systems developer, DevOps engineer, telecommunications engineer and IoT/cloud developer.
