This finance degree trains students to manage an organisation's finances using information and communication technologies, covering the functioning of the financial system, financial management principles, and the collection and analysis of financial data for decision-making. Core modules run from applied mathematics, microeconomics and macroeconomics through personal, public and international finance to taxes, financial accounting, financial markets and investment management, closing with company finance planning and forecasting. An optional module lets students choose between financial technologies and analytics or business organisation, and thirty-six credits of practical training include a business-creation internship and a final professional placement. Teaching uses lectures, seminars, debates, case analysis and group projects, assessed cumulatively throughout the course. Graduates can work as financiers, accountants or financial managers in companies, financial institutions or public bodies, progressing with experience into financial analyst or department-manager roles, or continue into master's study in finance-related fields.
