BA/BS in English philology

English Philology at Klaipeda University is a full-time bachelor's programme taught in English in Klaipeda, Lithuania. It runs for four years, carries 240 ECTS credits and leads to a BSc of Humanities. Studies begin on 1 September. The course combines general linguistic study conducted in English with applied work in English philology. Its purpose is to train language specialists who can use their linguistic knowledge and communication skills with imagination when working in two foreign languages. Graduates enter a labour market in Lithuania that values people who are fluent in more than one foreign language and who also have a sound grounding in the theory of language. The programme is designed with that need in mind, giving students both the theoretical base and the practical communication practice that such roles call for.
