Future social workers study ethics, philosophy, political science, fundamentals of law and fundamentals of economics, logics, theory and practice of social work, methodology of social work, deontology of social work, social policy, consultancy in social work, social activities of society, penitentiary law, law of social provision, public integration of the disabled, leisure management in the social system, fundamentals of care and nursing, etc. Practical studies take place in four stages: volunteer work practice, clinical social work practice, practice of social work in guardianship institutions, practice of social work in the community. The duration of practical studies is 640 hours. They consolidate and develop the skills of communicating with people of different age, provision of social aid, etc. The studies programme of social work is intended for persons with secondary education, seeking to become social workers.
